BODYFIT CLASSES MANSFIELD

This Bodyfit class gets you working with barbells to complete Olympic lifts like a clean and jerk and snatch. We will work on technique and get you comfortable with the bar and movements. Then we add the movements into a workout.

Along with this we will throw in some dumbbells, kettle bells and body weight movements to spice it up!

The session will be a different style of workout each week and allow you to build strength and get a good sweaty sesh all at the same time.
Suitable for all abilities, so why not come and learn something new?

SARAH BODYFIT

SARAH

I work as a Massage Therapist and also for an Occupational Therapy Team. I love both jobs because I get to help people, but in different ways.

I have always been interested in health, fitness and how the body works. I love keeping fit and have trained in lots of gyms over the years, enjoying all the different experiences.
I decided that I wanted to further my knowledge and skills so completed a Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer qualification.
Which then led on to me running sessions at a couple of gyms I attended, including a CrossFit gym.

I have been doing CrossFit for around 9 years and love the variety. The best bit for me was that I learnt new skills like Olympic lifting and gymnastics on the rig. I became fitter and stronger than I had ever been and started doing competitions to push my limits to the max.

I then wanted to further my knowledge and skills again and studied massage therapy which I found fascinating.

I am qualified in Sports Massage, but also Myofascial Release, Swedish, Hot Stone, Indian Head and Aromatherapy. I also offer a Lymphatic Drainage Treatment.
I am continuing my learning journey and will be adding further qualifications to my list.

MARK

Hi, I'm Mark, but I'm generally known as Tuney.
Growing up I loved sports, I swam at County level and enjoyed playing football.

I studied sport and recreation, which included becoming a lifeguard, swimming teacher, gym instructor and fitness trainer.

I then decided I wanted to jump out of a plane! So as I was pretty fit I thought I'd try and join the Elite British Parachute Regiment and spent 5 years serving my country. During this time my fitness was at its peak and we were beasted daily by the PTs.

After leaving the forces I started CrossFit, enjoying the Olympic lifting side. I then started to support the coach at my local CrossFit gym with Oly lifting sessions. I have been in and around CrossFit gyms for about 9 years now and still enjoy it as much as when I started.

A: ADULTS per class/pay as you train £7.00 - Membership £50.00

A: Comfortable shorts or tracksuit bottoms and a t-shirt will be fine, as long as you can easily move in what you’re wearing. You don’t need to go out and buy any special clothing to take part.

A: If you want to learn, we don’t care how old you are. We always do an assessment with everyone who wants to start taking a class to see their abilities and fitness level, and we have classes with adaptations for people with movement or mobility problems so if you’ll put the effort in, we’ll teach you.

JIU-JITSU

Join our Jiu Jitsu classes and learn a fun grappling martial art where you don’t have to be built like the Hulk to be able to take down an opponent. Known as the ‘gentle art’, you’ll learn the techniques and skills you need while increasing your fitness.

MMA

Build your fitness and your resilience with our MMA classes where you’ll learn techniques from a range of martial arts, including Tae Kwon Do, boxing, Jiu-Jitsu and more. You can work towards competing if you like or just enjoy learning new skills.
