MIXED MARTIAL ARTS FIGHTING

MMA may sound like a very intense and bruising combat sport but it does actually have rules to abide by (the Unified Rules of Mixed Martial Arts) and is known for being safer than boxing, so it may not be as out of reach as you think. As with other martial arts, people choose to take part to improve their skills, develop on a personal level, and to test their abilities and compete. In fact, there are as many reasons for taking part in MMA as there are people who do it.

MMA stands for Mixed Martial Arts and consists of techniques from a range of disciplines, including judo, freestyle wrestling, Brazilian jiu jitsu, Tae Kwan Do, karate, boxing and more giving you the chance to build your fitness, resilience, strength and flexibility and learn a variety of different skills.

You'll learn from experts in the field who've literally been there, done that and won at international level, so why not come along to our introductory class and try us out!

FAQ

Q: Do I need any experience?

A: Not at all. We have beginners’ classes across all martial arts, and we work with you at your level, wherever you are at.

Q: How many coaches are there per class?

A: Every class has a minimum of one coach, along with assistants to help and ensure that everyone is performing each move or technique correctly. We pride ourselves on making sure you are well looked after at every class.

Q: What should I wear to classes?

A: Comfortable shorts or tracksuit bottoms and a t-shirt will be fine, as long as you can easily move in what you’re wearing. You don’t need to go out and buy any special clothing to take part.

JIU-JITSU

Join our Jiu Jitsu classes and learn a fun grappling martial art where you don’t have to be built like the Hulk to be able to take down an opponent. Known as the ‘gentle art’, you’ll learn the techniques and skills you need while increasing your fitness.

CIRCUIT TRAINING

Build your fitness with a variety of exercises in one class with our circuit training. You’ll find a friendly atmosphere and supportive trainers and attendees who will cheer you on and push you to achieve your goals, no matter what your fitness level.

MUAY THAI

For a physical full body workout like no other, get started with our Muay Thai classes and build yourself to peak fitness. Enjoy fun and energetic classes with experienced instructors who’ll push you and support you to be the best you can be.

Challenge yourself with our intense kickboxing and martial arts classes, push yourself to learn and compete if you choose, and we know you’ll build your mental and physical toughness along the way while making friends with like-minded people.
